Teaching with your own lessons: becoming a publisher

Digital Elimu is not a fixed library. Its lessons come from publishers: educators approved to create lessons, teach with them, and share them with every licensed teacher.

How publishing works

• Approval first. Only publishers registered by the Digital Elimu administrator can publish. Each publisher works from a registered computer.
• Create. Publishers build lessons in the Digital Elimu Content app, with photos, voice notes and interactive tools.
• Teach. Publishers use their lessons in their own classes, exactly as other teachers will.
• Publish. When a lesson is ready, it is published to the catalogue and appears for teachers under What's New.

Protecting publishers' work

Published lessons open only inside Digital Elimu. They cannot be exported, opened elsewhere or shared outside the app, so the effort that goes into a lesson stays protected.
